Yes, it happened again...exactly 8 weeks after a fall that fractured her upper arm, Mama fell again on Tuesday and broke her left wrist.

One year ago today my siblings and I moved Mama into an independent living apartment at Senior Living at Forest Ridge.

After months of sorting through, cleaning out, divvying up, and selling the accumulation of 63 years of living in the same house, on Monday we finally closed on the sale of Mama's house.

On February 10, just before I left for Africa, my sister Barb and I were blessed to celebrate our precious Mama's 84th birthday with her.

Ever since I heard this question posed on the radio yesterday, it's had me thinking:  If you could revisit a Christmas Past (like Scrooge did in A Christmas Carol), which one would it be?

After 6 months of work cleaning out 63 years' worth of life's accumulation, Mama's farmhouse/garage/barns are finally empty.

After six emotionally and physically exhausting months of cleaning out every closet, nook, and cranny in Mama's old farmhouse/garage/barns, it's finally auction time.

My nephew Wyatt will be graduating from Florida's Trenton High School in May.

Can we just all take a moment to appreciate the stunningly beautiful setting of Forest Ridge Senior Living, Mama's new home?

Whew!!!  This past week has been a WHIRLWIND, to say the least!  So much has happened in a short time...the BIGGEST happening of all is that Mama has moved into a new apartment!
