October is truly one of my favorite months of the entire year...and how quickly it passed this year!

Probably my favorite ministry time (besides the time I spent with the MpM babies) was our day sharing God's love with the children and women at the Maasai village of Inkiito.

Yesterday as we were driving to church, the sun was brilliant and the ice-covered trees and grasses appeared diamond-studded....an absolutely gorgeous January morning.

It's Peru's tourist claim-to-fame and one of the most visited sites in the world, on many people's bucket list, with up to 5,000 visitors daily.

Which is precisely the reason Kim and I did not add Machu Picchu to our original Peru itinerary.
