As I close out my posts on our amazing Alaska adventure, I have a few more images to share that aren't grizzlies at all.
After a couple of days exploring Kukak Bay, Captain John navigated the Ursus to the larger, less protected Hallo Bay on the edge of Katmai National Park.
After our day in Kodiak, we took a float plane across Kodiak Island and the Shelikof Strait to the pure Alaska wilderness that is Katmai National Park, on the north-eastern coast of the Alaska peninsula.
On our way to Ohio to see our grandkids there, we usually drive through the small Indiana town of Metamora.
Not only does the Kalahari have huge herds of springbok and oryx as well as spectacular birds, there are also plenty of kitties around.
