"We" (I watched...and took pictures...) started out making 10 gallons of apple cider. Papaw's got his crew so well-trained that they know exactly what to do.

He mostly picks up the apples, gets things ready, and supervises these days.

Then it was out to the pumpkin patch. 

God and Papaw grew some very nice pumpkins this year...big ones!

A lot of the pumpkins required teamwork!

Poor Daniel didn't have a chance...

...so he resorted to picking up the gourds instead.

Ada was in charge of the gourd wagon...

Even a broken finger doesn't keep Karter out of the pumpkin patch...

A great pumpkin haul for the year! And what a great group of pumpkin pickers!

After the pumpkins were gathered in, we all gathered around the fire for the traditional weenie roast.

Not a big fan of the smoke....what we must suffer through to enjoy a weenie!
