But this year, since our sophomore grandson Karter is seeing regular playing time on the Shenandoah varsity football team, here we are again.

And we're loving it!

Karter plays on special teams as well as occasionally defensive end and about half of the offensive plays as wide receiver.

Some photos from the first 4 games of his varsity season as a sophomore...

This was an exciting, surprising play where Karter took the ball in for a 2-point conversion after a touchdown.

His first score as a varsity player!

Love it that Karter prays with a couple of his friends before each game. I'm hoping that by the end of the season, that small group will have grown!

See that gold jersey on the ground behind all of those other players? That is our Karter, who recovered an onside kick! They had been practicing that play and it worked perfectly!
