On Thanksgiving Day we shared a great meal and relaxing afternoon catching up with 19 of our family.
Emily & Zach and their two littles...
Kyler & Kara and their 4 young-uns...
We missed Kamaron and Anique's family, but glad they were able to celebrate with her two brothers, especially this year after the devastating passing of their mother.
I just love having the cabin full of our peeps!
Mama once told me to start taking photos of my family's piles of shoes, so this photo is for you Mama.
Abram and Lucy created a special turkey to share...this one was made from fruit. They did a great job!
It was a beautiful autumn day...another blessing as the children spent the afternoon outside doing country-kid stuff.
Like playing with the kitties...
...and building a fort. Or teepee. Or playhouse. Whatever it was, Abram and Koda were very proud of it. Inside were several collections of rocks, walnuts, pinecones, corn, and even a couple of bird nests. Abram is our little collector, and Koda was happy to follow his older cousin's lead.
They even allowed the girls inside...now that's Thanksgiving love right there!
Meanwhile, inside others were chilling...
...and a rousing game of Skip-Bo was happening.
Daniel was living his best life, winning the card game while drinking his "special drinks" and entertaining us with his conversations.
Baby Ada was very cooperative, napping through lunch and then again later in the afternoon. And in between naps, Gramaw got some wonderful Ada-time with my youngest grandbaby.
Lucy adores her baby sister, and Ada lets Lucy tote her everywhere. They've already got a special sister bond!
On Thanksgiving and every day, I am so grateful to God for this amazing life He has given me.
My cup overflows.
