Tough Little Wildcat

Abrmfb-36

Our third-grade grandson Abram plays football in Harrison, Ohio's youth football league.

He's the #00 Wildcat!

Abram plays defensive end and tight end, not positions you might expect from a boy his size. He's not small for his age, but there are certainly lots bigger kids on the team.

But what he lacks in stature he more than makes up for with grit and toughness and smarts.

This may or may not be holding...depending on whether the ref sees it...

...or Daddy. Abram is a quick learner, has a great attitude, and listens to coaching well, just the kind of player every coach wants.

Which I think is one of the reasons he starts every single game.

Oh, and he's cute too!

His Daddy Kyler was a very good football player in high school and is an assistant coach for Abram's 3rd grade team.

Kyler has lots of patience and is teaching Abram the fine points of football.

And he makes a pretty good waterboy for the team too!

After-game fist bump from his coach for a well-played game!

Quite a serious strategy discussion going on...
