Gourds and Marshmallows
10/12/2022
Even though Papaw's pumpkin patch was a bust this season (who knows why?!), our little pickers still had a good time gathering in the few gourds that escaped the bugs.
They gathered in just enough for each family to have a decent pile for fall decorating.
But the cousins still had plenty of fun together!
As is tradition, we had a weenie and marshmallow roast after the gourd-gathering.
Next year Baby Ada (who is already 4 months old!) will be in on the action...
...but this year she was part of the entertainment.
Lucy likes her marshmallows well done!
This kid....
Abram found himself a walking stick...Daddy Kyler helped him peel off the bark.
We're always glad to have Grandpa Kenny join us!
If you build a fire, Gray boys will show up...
We love our fall tradition, don't we Sweet Ada?
We may not have had many pumpkins, but we did have plenty of smiles!
A fun fall evening of gourds and marshmallows.
