Grandparents Day at the Tree House
And I know Peggy and Jeff (who couldn't come because he was at work) feel the same way. We were happy to be invited to our 4-year-old Daniel's Grandparents Day at his Tree House Preschool.
Daniel was happy to see us in the crowd of doting grandparents!
His 4-year-old class sang us a cute song.
Oh goodness...this child melts my heart!
And I'm betting his teacher Miss Jessica adores him too! How could anyone resist Daniel's charms?
Daniel's best friend at preschool is Brady. Sounds like these two are thick as thieves! And just a tad bit ornery, I'm guessing...
We had juice and donut holes for a snack...
The chocolate ones were the pre-K crowd favorite!
I told Daniel to look at me and smile...this is what I got...
Then I said, "Don't squint...I want to see those beautiful blue eyeballs." And THIS is what I got!
We took Daniel with us back to the house for a few hours, until the older two got home from school. We can't drive all the way down to Cincinnati without getting their sugar too!
Great-Grandpa Bud's Mini Me...if only Dad could have seen this one! Definitely a chip of his block!
Miss Ada Jane (now 3 1/2 months) provided plenty of smiles, coos, and snuggles to entertain us...
So fun seeing her own unique personality coming out!
No Daniel, you cannot box with Ada...not yet...
Daniel has just learned to ride his bicycle on his own, without training wheels. It won't be long before he'll be zooming all over the neighborhood with Abram and Lucy!
When Daniel discovered that his "sign" was missing, he enlisted Kara's help to replace it.
He set it in the window...nice to feel welcomed!
Sitting on the front porch, waiting for the bus to bring the others home...
Lucy couldn't wait to get her hands on her baby sister!
Thanks for the invitation, Daniel! We loved our time with you!
