Gramaw had already planned to do a 3-month photo session with this baby beauty,...

...but when I was searching for something else and came across this baby bracelet that I had worn as an infant, I had an idea.

This is a photo of me, taken 65 years ago, in September 1957.

I was 3 1/2 months old and wearing that baby bracelet. Years ago Mama gave me some baby dresses that I had worn, including the one in this photo.

Since Ada was born just 2 days before my birthday, I thought it would be fun to try to recreate this photo with my precious granddaughter.

So that's what we did (Kara is so gracious like that, allowing me to play baby doll with little Ada). How absolutely ADORABLE!

Ada doesn't have enough hair yet to style it like mine, so the bow added a nice touch.

Ada loves to chew on her hands, so this photo captures her perfectly.
