Did you miss me??? While we had a FANTASTIC trip, we are SO GLAD to be back home. We discovered that 4 weeks is just too long to be away from our peeps and our "regular" life...we would never be happy as "snowbirds"... we just can't be gone from home that long!

I came home to a whirlwind of craziness. All good stuff and lots of fun, but I'm still trying to catch my breath! My sister Maria was already in Indiana for a few days, so I got to spend some precious time with Maria and my other sister Barb. And then this past weekend our cabin and hearts were filled with the joyous sounds and non-stop activity of our 3 Ohio grandbabies who stayed with us for 4 nights.

It was ALL GOOD!!! And I loved every minute of it, especially after being gone for so long.

I'm finally getting a chance to start sorting through my oodles of Africa photos and I'm excited to share our trip with you on this blog very soon. I need to catch up on a couple of birthday celebrations and then I will take you on our across-the-globe adventure.

But I just wanted to pop in and let you know that I didn't drop off the face of the earth quite yet.

We LOVED our time there, but I'm happy to be home again.
