My grandbabies are growing up on me!

Krew's birthday was actually February 5 and his family had a little celebration for him at home. But since we were still in Africa, Krew wanted to wait for the family birthday party until after we got back home.

So sweet of him to want to wait on Gramaw and Papaw! But that's the kind of child he is...very sweet and thoughtful.

Mommy Anique helped him with the cards...and cousin Kelsey was ready to jump in too as needed.

Yes, that is a Maasai spear...straight from Kenya! For safety and wrapping purposes, it has a protective leaf sheath around the tip that will come off when he starts chucking his spear at lions and such.

Nothing like cousins!

That's all 11 of my grandkids right there together...we are blessed!

Krew and his favorite cousin Abram (who will soon be 8 himself) always have so much fun when they're together.

And these pretty cousins are all close to the same age too. Ellie just turned 7, Juni is 6 1/2, and Lucy will be 6 in April.

As we were leaving, Ellie burst back into the room...she had just pulled her tooth.

Exciting moment for all...
