We gathered at our cabin the Monday after Christmas to celebrate together. And yes, it was warm enough on December 27 in Indiana to be barefoot on the porch...an unseasonable nearly-70 degrees.

I love these special cousin moments....

Daniel may or may not have snuck a few snacks before the meal...

As with all Gray gatherings, food is first...

Having everyone there at one time, plus all the extra Christmas trappings, fills up the cabin.

And I LOVE it!!!

Our oldest grandson Karter is the "head elf," but he had plenty of elf helpers!

Daniel had a few presents to open...

Ready, set, GO!!! And in just a few minutes, all those hours of wrapping gifts were ripped away to reveal the surprises inside.

Koda had an unplanned buzz cut that morning after he decided to trim up his own hair with scissors before they came...

After the gifts were all unwrapped, we went around the room doing Show & Tell, starting with the youngest Daniel...

Several gifts this year were experience gifts, like these tickets to see the musical "Matilda."  Super-fun! 

And we love homemade gifts too! Like friendship bracelets made by the cousins...

Awww...Papaya wants in on the action! Uh, nope...only outdoor kitties for us!

Karter asked for a small Bible he could take to school. Wow! What Gramaw could ever resist a request like that?! Not this one...

The rest of the afternoon was spent trying out all the new toys...

Kelsey's first experience as a drone pilot...

And not to worry...our outdoor kitties get PLENTY of loving! Probably more than they bargain for when the granddaughters come over...
