Baptized!

Baptism-42

Last evening was a big night for our family.

Our oldest grandsons Karter (on right, 13 years old) and Kaden (11 years old, on left) were baptized during their week at church camp.

Out of this group of 8 middle-schoolers who were baptized, 5 of them are from our church family! Praise the Lord!!!

Before going into the waters of baptism, a blessing from those who love them most...

Our senior pastor CJ and youth pastor Bryan have both been tremendous influences on both boys' spiritual growth, so it was very fitting that they were the ones who baptized them in the camp pool.

The day of the boys' rebirth also happened to be their Great-Grandpa Kenny's 85th birthday, and we were so glad he was with us to celebrate.

(This photo demonstrates why I should always take more than one shot...open your eyes, Kim! You'd think after all these years of putting up with me taking photos of him he'd learn to keep his eyes open...)

An exciting and very happy day for the whole family!
