T-Ball Princess
05/06/2021
The only thing that might be cuter than a little boy in his baseball uniform is a little girl in hers!
Our 5-year-old granddaughter Lucy is playing t-ball this year.
The coach, who happens to be her Daddy Kyler, pitches a few balls and then if needed they bring in the T to hit off.
Not sure how fair it is to expect these littles to hit off a 6'7" leftie...
Sometimes Lucy does hit off Daddy's pitches, but that day she couldn't quite connect.
But she's perfectly happy to hit off the T!
Nothing warms my mama's heart like watching my children be such terrific parents to my grandbabies!
And nothing melts my grandma's heart like these kinds of moments!
Lucy's fan section...I brought her 8-year-old cousins Kassie and Kelsey with me to watch Lucy play.
The cap was a constant struggle...a cap just doesn't work well with two ponytails.
Time out for a cap adjustment...
Lucy is the only girl on her team so she has issues the others just don't understand.
Nice throw, second-baseman!
Oh yes, she's ready...
A little cheesin', dirt-tossin', ballerina-posin', and I'm-ready-for-this-game-to-be-over-so-I-can-have-my-snack action...
Meanwhile, the fan section found their own entertainment...running to the fence and collecting rocks.
Amost-3-year-old brother Daniel...
Seven-year-old brother Abram...
OVER the cap, already! Giving it to Mommy Kara for safe-keeping...
Getting some hitting tips from Daddy...
With two rowdy active brothers, Lucy can hold her own on the diamond.
Our adorable t-ball princess.
