Like a good chunk of the US, we woke up to this on Monday morning.

While I'm not too eager to have a slew of woodpeckers hanging around our log cabin in the summertime (I'm afraid they might mistake our cabin logs for trees...maybe I've watched too many Woody Woodpecker cartoons!)...

Got ourselves a new ride last week!

Our grandson Krew is now 7 years old.

Today Mama is celebrating her first birthday in Heaven.

Juni (5 years old) and Krew (almost 7) took advantage of our biggest snowfall of the season to build a snow fort at the cabin.
