After being a little "scattered" in my blogging the past couple of months, I'm trying to get back on track.
Even though I've not officially documented it, I HAVE been busy. Here's a sampling of what I've been up to...
- Trying to avoid being the subject of a "Hoarders" episode. This pile in the corner of my bedroom is the remains of what I brought home from Mama's house after the closing March 30. It sat there, basically untouched, for a few months and now I'm working my way through it.
It's hard to throw some things away, and I'm indecisive about others. But slowly and surely I'm making progress. My goal was to have it cleaned up by Thanksgiving...don't think that is going to happen. New revised goal: by Christmas!
2. This is Julia. She actually belongs to our kids next door, but since we get up earlier, she comes to visit me through my window every morning. She's supervising me as I'm editing photos or blogging or writing in my new book. Truth be known, it's probably the fact that Kim feeds her at 6 am. that brings her to the cabin...but I like to think she's coming to visit me.
3. I haven't stopped taking photos! I've especially savored the absolutely GORGEOUS sunrises and sunsets God has painted across the Hoosier skies these past few weeks.
Such a needed reminder, in these stressful and challenging days, that HE is still on His throne and none of what's happening here surprises Him in the least.
I've been in kind of a funk recently, but I'm snapping myself out of it and blogging helps.
So in case you've been wondering, that's...
...what I've been up to.
