Hungry for the Hardwood

Kadenbkb-3

Who knows what our grandkids' basketball season will be like this year, considering all the ever-changing protocols this nasty Covid has caused.

I do know that Kim and I, as well as many others, are especially hungry for some hardwood action this year after having last year's basketball season abruptly end, just when things were getting exciting.

But the kids have been practicing, and I got to see our 5th-grader Kaden in action a couple of weeks ago (before games were postponed...again...).

I love the passion Kaden plays with...he gives his all on the court!

Kristoffer is the coach...

...and he's fun to watch too!

My boys do love their basketball!

Despite a last-minute heroic comeback effort, the Raiders came up just short against a good Hamilton Heights team. We'll get 'em next time!

The second game of the day was not pretty. After a disappointing loss just a few minutes before, the Raiders just didn't have it the second game.

But I still love watching #31...

Despite the scores, it felt so good to be back in the bleachers again!

We've all been...

...hungry for the hardwood.
