Glorious Autumn Daze
10/22/2020
Autumn is my absolute favorite season...I just adore all things autumn, and October is the perfect month!
A few photos from the past couple of weeks enjoying this glorious time of year...
Grandchildren Juni and Krew are dwarfed by the tall corn ready for the combine.
Our orchard has been glowing...and these little ones make Gramaw glow with joy too!
The walnut trees are always the last to leaf out in the spring and the first to shed their leaves in the fall.
Juni gleaned some soybeans that Farmer JB missed...she likes to feed them to Papaw's chickens.
View from our cabin...beautiful woods across the harvested soybean field...
Amazing! Views like this are why I would never want to live where there are no Octobers...
The Ohio grandkids were doing a school unit on apples, so they came up to bake our favorite fall dessert...apple dumplings.
My little 2-year-old chef Daniel...
No photos of the finished product. We were too busy gobbling them down!
Trips to Cincinnati are much more beautiful this time of year.
It's fun to get off the beaten path in southern Indiana and take more creative routes home...
Slipping by much too quickly...
...glorious autumn daze.
