She is playing in an Upward Sports league.  I love how they announce the team rosters...and the kids love it too!  Big time!

 

We didn't get to see her first game, and apparently she was a little timid last week.  But this second game that was definitely NOT the case!

 

Girlfriend was right in there...

 

And she dribbled the ball downfield and scored her first ever goal on the game's first possession!

 

Nice work, Lucy-girl!

 

Now that she had tasted sweet soccer success, she was all about it...

 

And it wasn't long before she scored again!

 

That makes TWO goals!

Not that anyone's counting....

 

At that point, this little opposing player (he was also #8) came alive and it was "Game On" from there on out between the two #8s.

And she was UP for the challenge!

 

Lucy's turn to sit out for a few...

 

Back to action!  Any spot is a good spot for Lucy to dance!

"Listen, buddy, I've about had enough of you!"

 

Just to show #8 she meant business, Lucy scored her third goal of the game right before halftime.

 

Oh yes she did!  Look at the competitiveness on that sweet little face!

That pesky #8 was her nemesis all game...but Lucy rose to the challenge!

 

Lucy did have one wipe-out near the end of the game that wiped the smile off her face for a minute...

 

Nothing that a drink of water and encouraging words from Daddy Kyler can't heal!

Literally one minute later (I looked at the times I took the photos...it was exactly 1 minute between them....) this was Lucy on the sidelines.

Ready to get back on the field!

 

And she did!
