As we've been doing the past few years, Kim and I planned a little day trip for the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, heading south toward Madison on the Ohio River.

The month of August is a blur.

Shenandoah Youth Football is underway, with my 5th-grade grandson Kaden playing for the Packers with my son/his daddy Kristoffer coaching the Packers as well as being President of the league this year.

Since these 2 beauties were born, I've had the privilege of photographing sisters Grace and June each summer.

Our oldest grandson Karter is playing 7th grade football for Shenandoah Middle School.

I'm not normally one to take stock in such things, but perhaps this was indeed a bad omen.

We saw this sign outside an Outer Banks restaurant...so true.  In fact, I might change "ALL YEAR" to "FOREVER"!
