Our 6 1/2-year-old grandson Abram is in his second year of soccer, and it's amazing how much he has changed and his soccer skills have improved in just one year.

Speaking of changes, Abram just started first grade AND lost his first tooth!  The boy is checking off milestones way too fast for Gramaw!

What a great way to spend a glorious fall day, driving to Ohio to watch our grandchildren having fun!

Last year Abram was a little tentative, but this year he's right in the middle of the action!

He did have one little injury that wiped the smile away for a minute or two...

...but Abram shook it off quickly and was soon ready to get back into action.

The blond-haired boy is one of Abram's best friends, Gray.  Gray lives next door and goes to school with Abram...these two spend a lot of time playing together.
