Mama is an ice cream lover...always has been.  Our Schwans man (Kassie calls him the Duck man) has been loving me these days, as I've kept our freezer stocked with plenty of ice cream treats.  Once the kiddos next door, who happen to be four of my adorable grandchildren, discovered Mama's mid-afternoon ice cream ritual, they have been showing up on our porch every afternoon to join us.

A wonderfully fun and delicious new summer tradition that happens just after Papaw and the kids gather the eggs and before dinner prep begins...
