Surviving and Thriving
Yes, Again....

63

Friday was my 63rd birthday.

So I pretty much "partied" all Memorial Day weekend to celebrate with the people I love.

Emily and Dana's families surprised me with a special birthday fruit pizza!  I'm loving the creative candle combo...although Kaden claimed I was actually 6,111 years old.  I suppose to him it must seem that way.

And yes, I DID let the kiddos blow out my candles!  Our cabin (like my life) is not covid-compliant....

My first birthday celebration was a couple of days early, lunch out with my coffee friends...our first lunch out since being released from the covid quarantine.

Very thankful for these great friends with whom Goad has blessed me to do life!  Amy, Brenda, and Peggy have been among my most beloved people on this planet for 30 years...pretty much half of my life.  I am so very grateful for their friendship!

And on my actual birthday Friday, Kim took me on a wonderful day trip involving some of my very favorite things.  But that's another long post for tomorrow....

My birthday gift to myself was getting back down to my goal weight.  I'm very close now...I've released 70 pounds since Thanksgiving and feeling better than I have in 20 years or more.  Trying to age gracefully...

Loving and appreciating life...

...at 63.
