Tuesday, April 21, Quarantine Day #28:

    The sun is still rising, God is still on His throne, as we complete 4 LONG weeks of staying-at-home quarantine.

"Are not two sparrows sold for a penny?  And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father.  And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.  So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows."      Matthew 10: 29-31

While the nesting pair of bald eagles are the stars of the Summit Lake avian show, there are some other beautiful birds to be enjoyed (and photographed!).

According to the innocent assessment a child I know (not naming any names...), you know someone is OLD when they start watching birds.

Tuesday, April 14, Quarantine Day #21:

    Our adorable granddaughter Lucy turned 4 years old today.

One last post to wrap up our February trip to Kenya...

Chimpanzees are not native to Kenya.

You CAN'T go to Africa without doing a safari, of course, so during our brief stay at Sweetwaters Camp near Mt. Kenya, we did a few game drives through the Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

Has it really been just 6 weeks ago that Kim and I were sitting here in a circle of friends on the plains of Kenya for a Mahali pa Maisha Board of Directors meeting?
