Her preschool Christmas program was this week, and Kim and I and her Grandma Peggy drove down to Cincinnati to see her in action.

Yes, we drove 4 hours that night for a 15-minute Christmas program.  That's what crazy grandparents do!

Her big brother Abram, now a kindergartener, was in the audience...

...as well as her absolutely adorable baby brother Daniel.

Kyler and Kara sure do make beautiful babies!

The 3 teachers led us in a couple of Christmas songs...Mrs. Julie on the left is Lucy's teacher.  There are only 6 children in her 3/4-year-old class.

Another grandpa and I were the only ones in the room with a "real" camera...

After they finished, each child got a Christmas bag with a book inside.

Exciting stuff!

Lucy has come a long way...our shy, clingy girl has broken out of her shell in a big way!

She showed us her Christmas artwork on the wall...

And then we proceeded to get the obligatory group shots.

Daniel was not in the mood...he was too busy running around to be interrupted for a photos shoot.

The struggle is real...but so cute anyway!
