Costumes and Candy

Treat-37

The weather outside may have been frightful (blustery snow...yes, SNOW!)...

But the smiles inside were so delightful!

Our twin BEE-utiful granddaughters Kelsey and Kassie with one of their besties Addison at our church's annual Trunk-or-Treat community event.

Treat-50

We had a great crowd streaming through all evening...

Treat-15

I love seeing the little ones in their costumes.  Madeline was a perfect little flamingo!

Treat-3

And, of course, some of my own crew...Mrs. Incredible Emily and her two foster children...

Treat-3

Kristoffer and Dana and their busy hive, including Darth Vader (alias Kaden) and Army Ranger Karter.

Treat-3

Kim and I were the "American Gothic" painting.  Our sincerest apologies to the real artist of the original masterpiece, Grant Wood...

The hardest part was not smiling!

Treat-19

Pastor CJ and Leann...

Treat-19

Youth Pastor Bryan, Sam, and Ellis from "101 Dalmatians"....

Treat-57

...with 3 more of their youth pups.  Guess the other 97 were missing...

Treat-19

Brian and Jenni's Pumpkin Patch...

Treat-19 Treat-39

"Stitch" from "Lilo and Stitch" times two...Anna and Parker....

Treat-21

I know zilcho about Harry Potter, but I think Caleb may be one of those characters....

Treat-21

Tina and Lin were down on the farm.  LOVE the chicken feeder trough with candy!

Treat-21

A few of my favorite gals from our church family...Mara, Anna, Lydia, and Macy...

Treat-21

Oh cuteness overload!  Willow and Marli as "Wizard of Oz" characters Dorothy and Scarecrow....

Treat-21

...and baby sister Caroline sure made one adorable Tinman.

Treat-8

Jan was an "Arthur" character (isn't she cute?)...

Treat-8

...and she invited some Ball State college kids to join us!

Treat-8

Daniel and Jesseca as Peter Pan and Tinkerbell....

Treat-8

...and 3 of Jesseca's college friends drove from Indy with her to pose as Social Media.

I have to admit I did not know that middle icon...I'm too old-school for Snapchat.  I can barely handle Facebook and Instagram.

Treat-30

Beautiful princesses from fairy tale land...

Treat-30

Little Bo-Peep Eve and her little lamb Audrey...

Treat-30

These 4 cutie-pies...Tinkerbell Grace and Fairy Faye with Willow and Marli....

Treat-30

I get to watch sweet Faye in the nursery each week.  We're buddies!

Treat-43

Witch Macie...

Treat-43

Zombie Girl Vivian...

Treat-43

Olivia riding her dinosaur...

Treat-43

Hunter as the Headless Hunter...very clever....

Treat-54

Grayson was Mickey Mouse with Mommy Kelsey as the Cat in the Hat...

Treat-54

...and these 4 friends were being weird and creepy like friends are supposed to on Halloween.

Treat-54

Sophie and Zach....

Treat-54

Little Lavender was being camera shy...

Treat-54

Harper made a lovely mermaid...

Treat-54

...and her cousin Brynlee was sparkly and cute too!  And had her Mommy Jenny following her around assisting with her costume...

Treat-58

Matt was another one of those Harry Potter characters....

Treat-58

And I'm not sure exactly what Stella and Grady were, but they were having lots of fun!

Treat-58

Mommy/Daughter Ginny and Lydia were joining in the costume shenanigans...

Treat-58

...while Daddy Warren was faithfully upholding his Halloween-Slacker reputation.

Treat-51

What a great evening for our church and community!

Treat-51

You can't go wrong with...

...costumes and candy.
