Kim reminded me during supper last night that Thanksgiving will be here before we know it, and Christmas quickly after that.

Don't remind me.  I love the holidays but I'm savoring these final hours of October.

How can this month be over already?  Although 3 weeks have somehow flown past, it seems like just yesterday we returned from our Brazil trip (yes, I'm still going through those photos and I will share them soon).  Maybe it's because I just now finally got everything unpacked and put away.

The rain, the leaves, and the temperatures are all falling as they always seem to do on Halloween.
