A 3-Goal Kinda Day
My Man Is 64

Playing Catch-Up

Barn-1

The only bad part about traveling is the catching up I have to do when I get home.

What I'd REALLY like to be doing is be spending every day going through my 2000+ photos I took in Brazil's Pantanal, reliving the experience and savoring each moment.

Instead...

Unpacking.  Ugh...I do HATE unpacking/laundering/putting away everything.

Restocking.  We leave with virtually no food in the house, and we do need to eat.  (Or at least, we THINK we do....)  Grocery-shopping is at the top of my don't-want-to-do list.

Doubling up on my work and volunteer time.  Two-weeks-worth of office-keeping tasks at church as well as two-weeks worth of bookkeeping for MpM (Kenyan infant rescue center of which I am the US Office Administrator).

And here's the BONUS...those projects that I put off until AFTER I got home from Brazil?  Well, now I'm home and they're staring me in the face and I can't put them off any longer.  Deadlines await.

Add in all the normal stuff that fills my days and weeks.

I'd MUCH rather be editing photos and sharing Brazil stories with you.  And I promise I'll do that as soon as I can.

But right now, I'm still...

...playing catch-up.

(PS...I ADORE old red-paint-peeling barns, so thought I'd share this photo I took of one on the way to Cincinnati...)
