Soccer season is winding down, and Kim and I got to catch 5 1/2-year-old Abram in action one last time this year.
We picked a great game to attend...Abram was on fire, eventually scoring 3 goals!
Of course, while Abrams on the field there was plenty of cute sidelines entertainment.
Three-year-old sister Lucy....
...and 17-month-old little brother Daniel.
Abram was really going after it! (That's him in front, kicking the ball down the field, tongue in his cheek...) He's improved a LOT since we saw him at the beginning of the season.
Here he's on his way to scoring his first goal of the day....
Hands in the air, celebrating his goal!
That is one happy kiddo! I don't think the little girl on the other team shares his joy....
This photo is out-of-focus, but I still love it! Such excitement for both Abram and his Daddy Kyler.
Lucy-girl looking pretty cute walking the sidelines...
...and Daniel checking out the field during halftime.
Abram on his way down the field....
...for number 2. No brag, just fact.
Abram had quite a rivalry with the opposing player in the blue hat, who was a very good player. At the beginning of the game, Abram complained that kid was pushing him out of the way...and he was.
But Abram hung in there and started doing a little pushing of his own. Isn't that part of sports?
Pure delight! It never gets old!
(I love to watch the expressions of all the kids playing...so funny at this age! This little girl seems to be questioning her teammate about the score, and he responds "I don't know what happened!")
Great game Abram!
A 3-goal kinda day!
