Daddy Kyler is his coach.  Kyler readily admits his soccer knowledge is very weak, but hey...it's a group of 5-year-olds, how hard can it be? 

 

Of course, being the little collector that he is Abram would be just as happy playing with sticks...

 

...or finding teensy-weensy feathers in the grass.

Abram is playing for an Upward Sports League.  When they announced the players, the kids ran through a banner and along a line of adoring fans.

 

That may have been the most exciting part of the entire afternoon!

I love it that Upward Sports leagues always have a pregame prayer!  Such a great thing to teach kids!

The man in orange was using his drone and GoPro to video the activity.  That may have been the second-most exciting thing of the day...

 

Abram scored his first career goal!  Coach Daddy is pretty intense...

...a perfect opportunity to wave at the drone flying overhead....

 

...or just be a little silly.

 

Even when Abram's not in the game, there's plenty of entertainment on the sidelines...

 

At halftime, the players and coaches all gather for a short devotion time.

 

Which is a chance for wannabe soccer player Lucy to try out her skills.

"Hi Daniel!"...as he's running up the sidelines...

 

"What did you say???"
