Last weekend, 12 of us spent two days together in downtown Indianapolis. laughing and loving on each other, worshiping God, and being uplifted by the teaching of some fantastic women Bible teachers at the Women of JOY 2019 conference.

We stayed in the downtown Marriott, and I shared a room with those 3 lovely ladies on the far left.  Yep, I was in the right room.  I do love a woman who comes prepared!

The conference sessions were held at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.  It sends chills hearing 6000 women of God singing praises all together!

We had 4 incredible teachers who spoke.  Our first speaker was Margaret Feinberg, who I had never even heard of but totally loved by the end of the session!

A concert by Mercy Me was the finale of the first day.

Several of their songs were familiar, but the best one....I Can Only Imagine...

...WOW!!!  Hearing 6000 women singing the chorus together...just WOW!

The next morning we heard wonderful speaking from Jennie Allen, Angela Thomas Pharr,...

...and my favorite, author Karen Kingsbury.  Karen had us all in tears...both from laughter (the woman is a fabulous story-teller, which is why she is a best-selling author!) as well as sentimentality when she read her book about a child growing up Let Me Hold You Longer.

A wonderfully refreshing and revitalizing weekend...we're already looking forward to next year's tour!
