Beach Babies

Ranging in age from 11 down to 1 year old, watching their carefree frolicking made the vacation for me.
Karter (our oldest at 11 years) spent most of his time in the water, playing in the waves.
Along with his 9-year-old brother Kaden...
A little seaside baseball action in between wave-riding...
Both Karter and Kaden are always up for a competitive game...
Nine-year-old Kaden was a water bug too.
Their sister 6 1/2-year-old Kelsey tries her best to keep up with her older brothers.
I adore this photo of Kelsey..pure innocent joy!
Kelsey and her twin sister Kassie are such good buddies, but very unique individuals.
Kassie is not nearly as adventurous, and she was content playing at the water's edge most of the time.
But she did get a little more daring by the end of the week!
Gramaw's gorgeous little twin mermaids!
Five-year-old Krew dug a few tons of sand during the week...
And Krew had fun in the water too!
Krew's sister Juni, almost 4 years old, is such a beautiful little beach girl!
Juni is a collector...
And she loved running away from the chasing waves!
Five-year-old Abram was our beachcomber. He spent hours looking for and collecting interesting specimens on the beach.
And built a few sand volcanoes during the week!
Abram had fun jumping the waves with Daddy Kyler...
Little Lucy-girl, age 3, is not scared of anything...including big waves.
Such a charmer...with her charming Momma Kara....
Their brother Daniel, 14 months, was a sand-caked baby every day!
Practicing his surfing skills....
He's so close to walking, and got in some practice with Daddy on the beach.
And our 2 foster grandchildren, T (4 1/2 years old) and J (2 years) had a blast!
T likes to be in the middle of everything that's going on. I wish I could show you her sweet face...it was plastered with a smile all week long!
J enjoyed some nap time on the beach. So much playing wears a boy out!
Such a fantastic week for Gramaw, relaxing in her beach chair...
...savoring these fleeting childhood moments with...
...my beach babies.
