...all under this roof together for a week...

...with this gorgeous, endless playground just a few steps from our deck.

The perfect combination for a fantastic family vacation at one of our favorite spots on earth!  Over the years, we've made countless memories on Emerald Isle, North Carolina...

While everyone was out of their beach attire for a few minutes, some family photos were in order.

Our oldest son Kristoffer with Dana and their children...Kaden (9), Kelsey & Kassie (6 1/2), and Karter (11).

Our favorite daughter Emily and Zach with their two adorable foster children T and J....

Our middle son Kamaron with Anique and their children Krew (5) and Juni (3 1/2)...

Our youngest son Kyler with Kara and their children Lucy (3), Abram (5), and Daniel (14 months).

Papaw and Gramaw were in grandparent heaven all week, surrounded by this couchful of fun and energetic cuties!

Just for the record, this gang can sure put the food away!  Kim fixed breakfasts and lunches all week for us, and kept a running total of food consumed:

    15 lbs. bacon, 15 dozen eggs, 5 lbs. sausage, 110 biscuits, 5 loaves bread, 6 gallons juice, 4 gallons milk, 1/2 bushel fresh peaches for breakfast

    8 lbs. lunch meat, 10 packages of buns, 4 lbs. cheese, 20 2-liters pop, 12 bags chips, 3 qt. blueberries, 8 lbs cherries, 3 boxes Little Debbies, 7 family-size bags Oreos

And that doesn't include snacks and dinners each night!

God has truly blessed us abundantly with this...
