Migratory birds are on the move this time of year, and I was fortunate enough to spot a pair of ring-necked ducks on a pit stop from their winter home in the south on their way to northern Canada where they'll spend the summer.

They were a little distance away, but I was excited to see this handsome fella and his gal.

Another first to add to my collection of bird photographs!  Only here for a short rest before continuing their long trip north.
