On magical days like this, there is no place on the planet that I'd rather be than right here at my cabin in rural Indiana.

We had a little traffic down our country road, but vehicles were few and far between.

Our Christmas tree still laying on the front porch, awaiting its trip to the burn pile...

I heard squeals outside...Kristoffer was giving Kassie and Kelsey sled rides down the small hill in front of our house...it's a slight one, but the biggest hill we have on our property.

By the time the snow stopped, I think we got about 7" total.
