Back in Action

Kadbb-19

After a Christmas holiday basketball hiatus, the oldest Gray grandsons were back in action this weekend.

And this Gramaw was glad to be back in the stands cheering them on!

A few of my favorite 3rd-grader, Kaden (#31) in action...

Kaden is a great ball-handler for his age, but he did get called a couple of times for carrying the ball.  He may not have agreed with the call, but photographic evidence proves otherwise...

He is, after all, just 8 1/2 years old...very few kids on his team can even dribble the ball all the way down the court without losing it somehow.

At halftime, we had a barn-burner of a game!  (We are the Home team...in a game like this, 2 points is a huge lead!)

I enjoy watching my son/Kaden's daddy Krisotffer (on left) coaching almost as much as I do watching Kaden play.  He's got SO much patience...he sure didn't get that from either of his parents!

Sometimes it's quite comical on the court...

In the end, the Raiders prevailed.  Of those 15 points, 11 were scored by our boy!

His 5th-grade brother Karter (#10) was in action in the other gym.  A few shots of my favorite 10-year-old...

They played a team called the "Giants"...and a few kids on that team sure did seem BIG for 5th-graders!

Poor Karter trying to get a shot off against the Giants.  Seriously, #20, don't squash my Karterman!

Despite the size differential, our team won pretty handily.

A great afternoon!  So much fun watching Kaden and Karter doing what they love...

...back in action.
