The Best was Last
12/31/2018
While I loved ALL of our Christmas celebrations, my favorite one was our last one...when all four of our children and their families were all able to be here together this past Saturday.
Grandpa Kenny came for the day as well, making a total of 22 people...11 adults and 11 kiddos under the age of 10.
Of course, no Gray family celebration can begin without a good meal together. The girls' table...
...and the boys' table.
Kim accused me of being sexist and discriminatory...perhaps I'm guilty on both charges. I just know the conversations at these two tables were TOTALLY different....
With our tummies full, the kids were ready to move on to the best part of the day...presents! I'm thankful for my elves who are great at passing out the many gifts!
When all the gifts have been distributed, the mayhem begins!
Daniel liked his activity table...
...but isn't quite strong enough yet to stay up for long...a split second later he took a little face plant to the carpet.
No harm done...next year Daniel will be right in the middle of the grandchildren craziness!
Hexbugs were a huge hit with all the kids!
Kyler had a fun game to play, each person using their devices to answer...
Kenny didn't have his own device (and I doubt he ever will!), but he paired up with Kristoffer and enjoyed the game too.
I got the boys treasure boxes...which were another hit, especially with Abram and Krew.
Our little artists at work...
Who's afraid of the big bad wolf?!
The harmonicas were a great idea too, and provided us with plenty of background music.... ;)
The boys were excited to break open their geodes from their treasure chests...
Cool!!!
A smile-filled day surrounded by my favorite people in the world!
A wonderful finale to the Christmas season!
The best was last.
Blessed!! Love you Kam and Ryan match with their beard color😍
