My Lumberjack
Card Club Christmas Party

Dose of Sweetness

Cincygrays-2

Always a good day when Gramaw can play with her superheros!

Abram (4 1/2) and Lucy (2 1/2) move and chatter pretty much non-stop whenever they're awake.  When Papaw and I arrived, these cute caped crusaders were saving the universe!

Little brother Daniel (6 months) was watching the action and looking adorable as always.  It won't be long before he'll make the craziness a threesome...

Like I said...craziness.....not quite sure what Lucy-girl was doing here......

My, what a tall Christmas tree they have!  Kyler and the kids picked it out and put it up to surprise Kara when she returned home.  Now that was a big job, even for my tall strong son...not so much the tree, but wrangling three little ones in the process.  Something Kara does every day, but a rare (and educational) experience for Kyler.

We got there early before Abram had to go to preschool, but they wanted a few minutes outside on their brand new deck.

It took longer to get their outdoor gear on than the few minutes they spent outside....

This will be really nice for them next summer!  And they're even enjoying it in the winter...

While Kara took Abram to preschool, Papaw and I loved on Lucy and Daniel...

I mean how could you NOT fall in love with this beautiful child...

Lucy invited me to a pretend birthday party.  We gathered around the table...Smokey the cat, Bitty Baby, Mary mother of Jesus, the Angel, baby Jesus (complete with manger), Lucy, and me.  Quite an impressive guest list...I felt honored to be included.

We sang "Happy Birthday" and blew out the pretend candles (of course we did...Lucy and her big brother love anything fire-related!) and she served me the most delicious make-believe cake with lots of icing (an absolute must!) and even coffee to go with it.  Such a wonderful hostess!

Their vivid imaginations is my favorite part of toddlerhood!

Not sure what these three were discussing, but it could not possible have been nearly as intriguing as our birthday party.

The morning went way too fast and Papaw and I had to head back home...

...but not before we got a much-needed big dose of sweetness!
