As always, I'm behind.  I never was a trend-setter...or trend-follower, for that matter.

But this time I'm behind for good reason...our big main family Christmas is still to come!  Tomorrow 22 of us...all of our children and their families as well as Kim' dad will gather together for one last Christmas blast.

 

Soon afterwards, all these holiday pretties will be packed away for another year.  Before that happens, I want to linger just a little while longer in the beauty of our cozy cabin at Christmas time...

 

In mid-December 2011, we moved into our cabin and it has been the perfect home for us these past 7 years.  

A dream come true, really, because I'd always wanted to live in a cabin but never in my wildest dreams did I ever think we really would.

God has been oh-so-very good to us!

 

Today is a day of preparation for a cabin full of the people I love most tomorrow.  We may be a few days after December 25, but we're excited to enjoy another...
