We are blessed to share Daniel with his other set of grandparents, Peggy and Jeff, who just happen to be some of our closest friends.

The four of us drove down together after our own worship service to share the special day!

Daniel has the most gorgeous big blue eyes and long eyelashes!

Big brother Abram (4 1/2) was also dedicated at this very same church 4 years ago.

Some thoughtful reflections from the pastor...  Mommy Kara works part-time for him in the church office.

There were about a dozen families with children being dedicated, and when it was their turn they took the stage.

The pastor prayed for little Daniel and the family, and I loved how he reminded us of the ancient man of faith Daniel in the Holy Bible, how despite danger and going against the culture where he lived, Daniel was faithful to pray daily to God.

The name Daniel in Hebrew means, "God is my Judge."  We pray that our little Daniel grows up to be a man of strong faith and courage too!

I love the verse they picked out for Daniel!  May he also be a prayerful man whose words God will hear and respond to!
