Blessed and Thankful

A wonderful Thanksgiving Day...28 of us gathered at my sister Barb and brother-in-law John's house for a day of family and feasting.
And I do mean FEASTING!!! Barb says it's the most food that has ever been in her kitchen at one time!
I had the blessing and privilege to dine with these 7 cutie-pies. You can learn a lot from conversations at the kids' table...
John used his drone to take a few aerial pics...
...like this fun one with me and 7 of my grandbabies!
Six-month-old Daniel isn't quite old enough to get in on the action yet. But look at this big boy sitting up all by himself!
Daniel's mesmerizing big blue eyes melt Gramaw's heart!
These 2 beauties are Barb's granddaughters Mira (11 years old) and Maci (9) who came from St. Louis for the holiday fun.
The brain trust...a lot of smarts being exchanged here! Kim with Barb's son Brett...
Mama and Barb's daughter Sarah....
A post-Thanksgiving tradition...Sarah, Kara, Kristoffer, and Emily planning their Black Friday shopping strategies....
Barb's grandson Austin, who will be 16 in just a couple of months...
Who knew a pile of pine needles could provide so much fun?!
Their coats didn't stay on long...it was a GORGEOUS day!
Some hoops action for Kassie and the boys...
Barb helped organize a laser-tag version of Capture the Flag, with one of the neighborhood kids joining our gang.
A formidable team!
Abram and Kelsey were quickly "out", but still having fun with their laser guns on the sidelines...
Lucy wasn't big enough to join the game, but she was happy playing with her own broken laser gun inside.
Brett's wife Megan showing Dana photos of their new home addition which will be finished soon.
A little Lucy silliness...
...and Daniel joy!
Some of the menfolk watching football (of course!)...Zach, John, Kristoffer, and Kim....
Mama enjoyed the day with her peeps!
Emily and Barb...Barb was a wonderful hostess! We all had a great time! I should have taken a photo of our host and hostess together, but they were busy being hospitable!
So nice to see Sarah and her husband Joe...
And as a finale to a wonderful day, God hung the most awe-inspiring full moon in the sky for us to enjoy on our 2-hour drive home.
My cup overflows!
I am blessed and thankful!
Beautiful day...and I love your momma's new glasses. She looks great:)
