Even Smaller Wonder
Blessed and Thankful

"Annie" with My Girls

These are my girls.  And last weekend we had a girls' night out to see the musical "Annie."

Of course, when me and my girls are together, you can almost bet there's food or coffee or both involved!

Dinner out at the Burro Loco...strategically located within a block's walk of the theater on a cold, breezy November night.  Our mommas didn't raise no fools!

Brenda looks even tinier against this huge jug inside the restaurant.

After a yummy Mexican dinner, we walked to the charming, old-school theater.

Such a fun place!

Just to prove that it doesn't take much to entertain us, we all got tickled at this sign in the theater restroom.

Toilet talk seemed to be our theme last week.  At our coffee time a couple of day earlier, we had a rousing discussion on how many squares of toilet paper is necessary/appropriate/allowed/proper.  Inquiring minds want to know such things...

Since we got our tickets late, we were sitting in the last row of the theater.

But since there are only 9 rows, it wasn't an issue.  We could see just fine!

"Annie" was very entertaining, a fun musical with lots of talented children in the cast to get us in the holiday mood.  But the evening wasn't about the show...that was just an excuse to spend an evening laughing with some of the best people on the planet.

A good time was had by all.

And we sang "Tomorrow, tomorrow, I'll love you tomorrow...you're always a day away" as we walked back to our vehicle.  (No one is signing us up to be in the musical...)
