When Daddy's in LA...

...Gramaw comes to help play!
Okay...I did try to help some. Daddy Kyler is spending this week in California conventioning with his Procter & Gamble peeps, so the grandmas tag-teamed it to provide some extra helping hand for Kara. I spent the first couple of days this week with three little adorable Grays...
Daniel is 3 1/2 months old now...
Lucy is 2...
...and Abram is 4.
It's a busy household!
Daniel had lots of new tricks to show Gramaw. He's a strong little guy and is sitting up well in his bumbo seat...
...with lots of smiles and the sweetest little coos and sounds you can imagine.
Oh...and the brightest blue eyes!
I couldn't get enough photos of them...as you'll see later in this post.
Just a sampling of the past few days with these sweet, busy grandkids...
Lots of coloring...
Abram had preschool a couple of days...
It was super-hot and humid, so the little pool got a good workout...
...and Gramaw's VeraCruz got a free wash.
Girlfriend will NOT be left behind!
Popsicle-eating...
Car-cruising....
Scooter-racing...
Secret-telling....(I think they're scheming on how to completely exhaust Gramaw!)...
And a few scraped up knees and bruised egos.
Daniel is an easy-going, usually-happy baby but he does have his occasional outbursts.
Especially if he's hungry. Gray man all the way.
Papaw came down for one day, getting in plenty of tickles...
...and lots of Daniel conversations.
Papaw is much better at tossing the football than Gramaw...
...and after some practice (and perfect tosses from Papaw) Abram was pretty good at catching it!
There are those killer blue eyes again....
We flew lots of paper airplanes...
Enjoyed plenty of snacks....
...and ICE CREAM, of course!
Do not underestimate the entertainment value of bubble wrap!

Maybe Daniel WILL be a quarterback someday, just like his daddy was.
Our little dancer ready for her second lesson...
She was all excited right up until time for class to start...
...then she was a rather reluctant ballerina.
Encouragement and coaxing from Mommy...
...as we watched on the monitor just outside the dance studio.
By the time she put on her tap shoes halfway through, Girlfriend was doing great on her own.
Daniel was charming us spectators!
After class she was all smiles with her Star Student sticker!
Such a fun three days with my precious grandbabies...
...while Daddy's in LA.
Adorable...well I see so much of Kyler in him. And that red car reminds me of a few pics I have of Kyler & Ryan (of course they usually had kittens along on the ride as well). Looks like the dirt piles have turned into nice grass to play on now. Enjoy my friend....
