Their rookie season is over for our Pixie-leaguers Kassie and Kelsey (both 5-going-on-15).

Sweet little June, the granddaughter of one of my best friends Brenda, just turned one.

Yes, she was born in June.  :)

I am blessed to live just 20 miles from Mama, an easy country drive away.

Most weeks I see her at least twice and talk to her a couple more times.  And every visit these days is an adventure!

My favorite thing about summertime is that we get to make some country memories with our grandbabies.

Our cabin front doors are sporting some new decor...handmade by Yours Truly.

When I talk to people who don't have lots of cousins, I feel sad for them.

Meet our great-nephew Sam, a recent graduate of Floyd Central High School in southern Indiana.

How is it possible that I have a grandson who is 10 years old?!

Whew!!!  What a crazy, busy, fun, exhausting, uplifting, challenging, renewing, Jesus-filled 5 days we had last week!

June is one of my favorite months around our cabin.
