All the colors of the rainbow surround us, full of life, growing and blooming with gusto!
Our three snowball hydrangeas are in full bloom right now...
Behind the cabin, the wildflower patch is abundant with orange butterfly weeds in June.
Along with some other wildflowers mixed in to add interest.
The red admiral butterflies (along with lots of other bugs) love the butterfly weeds...
...and so do my little honeybee girls.
See her little tongue lapping up the nectar?
Our three beehives are buzzing with activity!
Lots of comings and goings!
Kim's garden always looks so nice in June, especially after a welcome rain.
And out in the peacock pen (ignore the rag-tag attempts to keep these birds in their pen and out of trouble...it's the Gray-man way of fixing things...), the competing males are strutting their stuff to attract the hens. I love how the girls are so nonchalant about the whole thing...but you can bet your booty they aren't missing a single feather-shimmy!
Those colors and design are absolutely magnificent!
After a slow start to the planting season, the soybeans are looking good.
And while the cats keep the birds at bay, we do have a fearless pair of cardinals....
...that hang out around our birdfeeders.
As well as several hummingbirds who sip on our flowers and at our feeders.
I love our little corner of the world, that we call...
...home sweet home.
