Recorder Concert

Music-3

Fourth-grade music class for Shenandoah students always involves learning to play recorders.

Our oldest grandson Karter (top center in navy shirt) loves music and of course (of course!) excelled in recorder-playing as well.

Last evening's 4th-grade music program was the last (I think) school programs for the year.

Karter loves music of any kind and did a great job playing his recorder.

Karter was one of several 4th-graders with speaking parts, explaining about each song and learning to play the recorder.

A few barred instruments added a little variety...

I loved the clapping songs they did.

Remember "Mary Mack"??? ("Mack, Mack...all dressed in black, black, black...with silver buttons, buttons, buttons...all down her back, back, back")

I spent hours on the school bus and playground doing that very clapping song myself!

I know Mrs. Lipps will be very glad to have the month of May finished!  It takes a lot of patience and work to coordinate all those grade level programs.

My handsome grandson and his classmates did a great job with their...
