A Two-Birthdays Party

Abrlcybdy-35

We got to celebrate two special birthdays over the weekend!

Abrlcybdy-6

Lucy-girl turned TWO on Saturday...

...and her brother Abram had turned FOUR just 3 weeks ago...when their family life was a bit chaotic as they were not yet moved into their new house and Kim and I and Zach were still in Kenya.

So we celebrated both birthdays on Saturday in their brand new home just outside of Cincinnati!

Mama chatted with Kara (who is feeling the effects of being 8 months pregnant these days...) while Kyler gave us the grand tour.

I snapped a few photos of the main living areas, before the rest of the crowd arrived.

Love the kitchen...in fact, I love the whole house and are so very happy for them!

Kim and his dad Kenny in the dining area just off the kitchen...

By the time everyone arrived from both sides of their families, there were about 30 people.  What a wonderful way to initiate their new home!

Emily greets her Grandma Lois...

Anique and Kara's sister-in-law Jamie...

Lucy was making sure the house was cleaned up!

Juni was fascinated by the lava/volcano lamp, but played shy when Gramaw brought the camera around.

Abrlcybdy-13

Kara's momma Peggy is one of my best friends.  We are both excited to meet our new grandbaby in less than a month!

I think Kara's ready too....

Enter her big BOY cousins who knew all about how they worked...

Abrlcybdy-65

How do kids know this stuff?!
