I miss them something fierce when they're gone, but looking back through photos I took one afternoon we were just hanging out at the cabin brings smiles to my face.

Papaw's pond is always a fascinating temptation...

Meanwhile, brother Abram is explaining in great detail his fistfuls of rocks and trumpet blooms. 

He's always got a project...and a running dialogue to match!

"Show me your mean face, Abram."  Now THAT is scary!

Something tells me braces are in this boy's future....

Seeing the world through a child's eyes once more is one of the best parts about being around children.
