Gotta Love a Preschool Program
05/17/2017
If you're feeling blue and down-in-the-dumps, find a local preschool program and I dare you to leave without a smile on your face!
Kassie and Kelsey ended their year at Building Blocks Preschool with a program that sure put smiles on ours!
Cheering section...waiting for our stars to shine!
This was their little class of 3-year-olds that are now 4-year-olds.
The children each introduced themselves...
And just speaking into the microphone was one of the highlights!
They spotted Mommy and Daddy!
I stepped to the back of the church's sanctuary to take photos and realized I was the only one (I think) with a "real" camera. Everyone else...cell phones! The world is a-changin'....
A couple of our church children were there too...that's Brynlee in the striped dress...
And Parker in the argyle sweater. Brynlee and Parker are both a year older than the girls and will be going to kindergarten at Shenandoah this fall. Hence the graduation caps! (duh!)
Okay, call me old-fashioned (you'd be right!) but I think it's a bit much to present flowers to a preschool graduate. (No, my peeps didn't bring these...) Seriously?!!! Setting the bar of expectations way too high, in my old-school opinion. But I'm clearly in the minority as many parents had bouquets to present to their little girl graduates. The world sure is a-changin'....
None of those little girls were any CUTER than ours! Kassie had nervous tears before it started, but once she got on stage she beamed. Girlfriend LOVES the spotlight!
All the classes sang a few songs together. The gal playing the keyboard (far left) is sweet Mary Beth, a friend of mine.
After a slide show of photos from the year...
...goody bags for all the children. Kelsey couldn't wait to open it!
My oldest son's beautiful family! They make my heart sing!
Awww.....Gramaw adores these sweet girls!
Gotta love a preschool program!
